Chris LaGarde, the founder and CEO of The Chris & Company: Leadership & Coaching, dedicates himself to unlocking human potential. His company specializes in guiding leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs to fully realize their own potential, as well as that of their teams and businesses. Chris's current path as a coach and trainer, though a calling now, emerged from a journey filled with diverse experiences and challenges. It's from this personal journey that Chris draws inspiration to empower his clients to achieve their best.

 

Raised in the picturesque Chester County, a historic suburb of Philadelphia, Chris's early years were surrounded by the region’s rolling hills and rich heritage. He initially carved out a career in Graphic & Web Design, honing his skills at various advertising and branding agencies before channeling his creativity into founding his own design company.

 

Chris’s design venture was later acquired by friends who had established a Control Systems Programming business. Here, he stepped into the role of Creative Director, overseeing marketing and interface design. His innovative approach soon made waves in the industry, setting new standards in control system interface design.

 

In 2007, driven by a desire for new challenges, Chris embarked on a career in real estate. Joining a leading local team, he not only managed their marketing efforts but also excelled as a Buyer Specialist, contributing to the team's top-tier performance.

 

2010 marked a pivotal year for Chris, as he and a close friend co-founded their own real estate team. Their collaboration and dedication rapidly positioned them among the top producers in Chester County. Achieving a remarkable milestone in 2021, the team, under Chris's leadership, sold over 200 homes, generating upwards of $70 million in volume and nearly $2 million in revenue.

 

2018 was a year of transformation for Chris, as he pursued his passion for empowering others to reach their fullest potential. He became an Approved Trainer with Keller Williams International, the world's largest real estate company, and also joined MAPS Coaching, Keller Williams’ esteemed coaching division. This new avenue allowed Chris to channel his experience and insights into fostering the growth of fellow leaders and entrepreneurs.

With six years of rich experience in coaching and training, having facilitated over 4000 coaching conversations and empowered more than 80 businesses, Chris reached a pivotal moment in 2023. Embracing his personal and professional evolution, he decided to wholeheartedly dedicate himself to coaching and training. This significant decision led to the founding of 'Chris & Company: Leadership & Coaching', a venture that epitomizes his coaching identity and expertise.

 

Chris’s core identity has 2 parts - a “Builder of Constructs" and a “Teaching Prophet,” which deeply influence his coaching style. In his work, he assists clients in constructing blueprints for self-discovery and simplifying complex challenges into actionable insights. This approach guides individuals towards a more fulfilling life, both personally and professionally.

 

Chris's roots remain deeply planted in Chester County, where he cherishes life with his wife of over two decades and their four children. His wife stands as the cornerstone of their family, pivotal to his personal and professional journey. A voracious learner, Chris immerses himself in books, podcasts, and diverse training programs, continually enriching his knowledge and skills. His commitment to physical fitness is evident in his dedication to Crossfit, a discipline he's pursued zealously for more than eight years. Central to Chris's life is his faith as a devoted follower of Jesus of Nazareth, an influence that profoundly shapes all aspects of his personal and professional endeavors.
